St. Paul's Nursery School is a non-religious co-op with a rich history of serving children in the community since 1950. Located in downtown Burlingame, it is a magical place for parents and children, 3 to 5 years old, to play and discover together. With our veteran staff, cooperative families, and connected alumni base we are proud of the consistent and quality programs we are able to offer. Our school is founded in the beliefs outlined by the National Association of the Education of the Young Child (NAEYC). We embrace the stringent criteria set by this advocacy group for young children.
Our preschool program is curated to focus on the most incredible part of childhood - play. Through play, children grow and develop their emotional, social, and intellectual curiosities. St. Paul's Nursery School is a parent-participation school open to children from 3 to 5 years old.
Our play-based curriculum focuses on developing children’s social, emotional and pre-academic skills to prepare them for the next step: Kindergarten (and beyond).
SPNS was founded in 1950 and is a proud member of the California Council of Parent Participation Nursery Schools. Read parents’ experiences on Yelp!
