Our Teacher

Our children benefit tremendously from the devoted, talented and experienced leadership of our school.

Marisa Cajbon, Director

Teacher Marisa has been an Early Childhood educator for over 16 years and absolutely enjoys working with children and families! She has always been involved with programs that support hands-on, play-based learning. She earned her Bachelor Degree in Liberal Studies with the Foundation for Teaching from Notre Dame de Namur University and Master of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education from California State University East Bay.  Marisa takes pride in keeping current with research and teaching trends in the field and strives to incorporate new ideas into the curriculum whenever possible.

Cathy Alviso, Junior Lead Teacher

Teacher Cathy brings a calm and nurturing presence, which creates an atmosphere of trust and builds confidence in children.  She is magical in her ability to calm even the most upset child.  Cathy has a twinkle in her eye and always has a funny story to share with the children.  Cathy holds her Master Teacher credential and is credentialed as a Site Supervisor in the Director’s absence.
